Le Mensuel: Août et Septembre

First and foremost, I'm going to start writing in French so I can practice once again. To be quite honest, I'm out of practice. I think ever since I paused my studies at l'Alliance Française last year, I slowly forgot some of it and my confidence level went down. That's the past, and this is now, and I intend to push through with this. I mean, if I do plan to move to Paris, this is a non-negotiable.

August and September was mainly dedicated to working and planning my Paris trip. I think it was around August that I decided to buy my ticket, after learning that Canada is on the "green list". I was a bit scared because in the past, I went there on a business trip, meaning the flight and accommodation was paid for. When I stayed a few extra days after, I either had a family member to stay with or I stayed for a short time that the cost wasn't as expensive. This time, it was all me. Flight, accommodations, food, everything. I also decided to spend two weeks in Paris plus a two-day trip to Croatia, so that meant really saving up for all foreseeable expenses. The good news is my flights and Airbnb for both cities didn’t cost an arm and a leg as I booked this way ahead of time. I’ll be talking more about this in a video that I’m planning to make really soon, so watch out for that. I’m also doing a separate post for October with more about my trip, including some amazing photos that I took with friends.

For now, here are August and September in photos. Please let me know what type of content you would like to see or which ones you like so far in the comment section below. I’m trying to curate and put more structure in the content that I’ll be producing.

À tout à l’heure.
J.
